great car ,but what do you do with it.Mate has that problem with a Porsche RSR 3.0 can't drive on road ,worth to much to race.

 

I suppose so mate. That is alot of money that is sitting there. But you could still get permits at least once a week to drive the car and enjoy it. If I ever buy a LHD car (Enzo ) I can join the local "Restored Car Club" and get special club rego through those guys. That allows me to drive up to 15km radius from where the car is "lives" at. That allows me to drive the car anywhere here in Mount Isa. .........for fuel, tyres, any repairs I have done to the car that need to be road tested ect. There is no actual time limit. It is just a special form you fill out before you drive the car, in case you get pulled over by the Police. There a few guys here that drive them nearly every weekend with no hassles. LHD 1997 Mustang convertible, LHD GMC ute thingy and a couple others.

 

yea i do that with the jag on club plates if i get picked up just say I'm road testing it,after all it is a jag.

 

Very good sir. I hope you wear your tweed hat when driving the Jag and your leather driving gloves also.
At least Club Rego lets you enjoy your LHD car. Id never buy a LHD car that would just sit in the garage. Waste of time and money that!!
