I don't think so. Rosso Rubino is a darker color.

It is Rosso Monza. A new colour introduced with the 599. Very similar to Rosso Fiorano.

Rosso Monza has been around since the days of the 456GT.

Without looking I'm guessing its a dark metallic red. Almost like a Rust color with Metal Flake.

Well, I'm 90% sure that whatever color it is, it's a new color first available on the 599.

Is Rubino Micalizzato a new color or has it been around for a while also?

Rosso Monza was a new colour introduced with the 599. However, the name has been used in the past. I do not know, whether the 'old' Rosso Monza and the new are identical or just similar. The red metallic 599s you see (as in the link at the top of this thread are the 599 press cars, which are Rosso Monza.

Rubino Micalizzato was, I believe, introduced with the 612.

As you may know i have been thinking very hard about upgrading to various cars, its been driving me mad and i wanted to stay with ferrari but thought about straying. I took a trip to ferrari dealer today down south with a friend of mine to simply take a look at their stock and see a few ferrari's up close and after about 45 minutes i took a test drive and put down a deposit on a used rosso corsa 430!!! 1,800 miles!! I havn't seen the 430 up close for a very long time and seeing it today!! i just could not resist!! I cannot imagine how i was thinking of straying. Its amazing what seeing something up close does to you becuase i wasn't really considering the 430 much at all. The test drive was something else, i didn't really get to use the car all that much but theres a world of difference between the 430 and my current 360 from what i could tell. Sorry about the long post but ive finaly sorted my confusion and seriously looking forward to collecting it.
