I was on the Monza circuit site earlier - there's a Le Mans series race there on 13, 14 & 15 April 2007. In searching the site, many of the viewing locations along the circuit already have tickets available for purchase for the F1 race in September. The hotel where I stayed for the Finali Mondiali is only a 15 minute or so drive from the circuit - nice place - very reasonable.

For the Monza F1 race on 9/9/07, is it better to purchase the tickets directly from the Monza ciruit as opposed to the F1 web site? If so, what is the link?
    Thanks!

    Here's the site in english . . .

    http://www.monzanet.it/eng/default.aspx

Whenever possible, we've always purchased from the circuit. You may want to check several sites for comparative pricing. We've used gptickets.com, grandprixtickets.com and others. I stayed at the Mercure Milano Cinisello Balsamo (www.mercure.com or www.accorhotels.com) a few weeks ago and at that time, took my reservation for the f1 days. Great restaurant a short walk from there - left out hotel, past motorcycle dealer down little hill, right then left going past barking fenced dog, left into restaurant at corner - fantastic meal for 26 euro.

Another heads up, I've been making reservations for various ALMS races, etc. and right now some airfares are really low - $229 DFW-ATL rt (Petit LeMans in October). Earlier got tickets to Brussels for Proximus 24 Hours of Spa end of July and only 14 seats remained on the flight from Dulles to Brussels. It definitely pays to pick your event and get everything booked early - you wait and you loose!

    Good luck,
    Carol
