I am currently in the market to purchase a Fcar 360 or a Lambo Gallardo. Today I drove a '04 Gallardo and I was frustrated with the seats. The car I drove had a manual lever to move the seat forward and power switches to move the seat back. However, no adjustment would actually RAISE the seat bottom. Does the Gallardo have an option for different seat controls. I am only 5'1" and had a hard time with visibility since I was sitting so low and the dash sits so high.
My new spyder has the same seats as the car you drove. I've driven, or driven in 10 different "G's" that are just like my car. Lambo does make a full power seat, but I've yet too see it personally. They're out there. Happy hunting!
I've yet to see the full power seat in real life but a pic of one I saw did look like it had up and down directional buttons.
Red4RECAT, I'm only 5,4" and test drove a Gallardo with the power seat. I was worried about the visibility, but after adjusting it, it was fine. Just make SURE the one you get does have the power driver seat. You should be OK then. Good luck on your search.
My 04 Gallardo had and new Spyder have full power seats. 8 way - up, down (Raise), forward and back, tilt up and back - and the seat back - up and back. It is an option - but nice to have. Both the driver and passenger side.. Rich
Very glad to hear about the power seat option. I am wondering if I will be able to find one that is "the" right car and equipped with that option though. While test driving I boosted myself up and it improved everything, so I know I HAVE to have a fully adjustable seat. I am not ruling out the Modena which seems to "fit" me pretty well either. Thank you guys!!!
I found a Gallardo with a fully adjustable power seat. However, I sat so far forward that even though I was "higher" I still had a visibility issue with the A-pillars. I really felt like I had blind spots. Even after adjusting the seats, mirrors & steering wheel, it felt akward. I ended up buying a Modena. It was much more of a comfortable "fit" and I preferred how it drove to be honest. The F1 trans seemed much smoother and the braking was much better. I appreciate all your imput! Carlagio- You rock! Cyn PS- The Modena is RED!
Congratulations on your purchase! I agree, you've got to be comfortable with your seating/visibility in the car. Those dynamics are not something on which you want to compromise. Enjoy the Modena!
