Hello to all! I am not new to the Ferrari world, but am new to this community. I've been around Ferraris since I was 11 years old, and they are my passion to no end!! I happen to be building a pretty nice Porsche 944 Turbo. I know, I know, this is a Ferrari forum. But it is a sweet project car I am working on. As such, I am also a member of www.rennlist.com.

Anyway, I just joined and have yet to still figure out the system, but I'll get there. Anyway, just wanted to say hi. I'll have a profile up and running soon enough. I live in the NY/NJ area too. Just for the fun of it, I thought I'd list just about every Ferrari I've ever driven. I still have a lot more to go though. Thanks for reading this and I'm happy to be here!!

    Cheers,

    Rolex

    :)

Hey, no trouble believing that! Must've been a hell of a drive...

But I would think the 288 GTO would be awesome too...

    Welcome!

I started tracking my 456 and got hooked. I just bought a 1986 944 NA that I am preparing for Cup and SP2.

Stu: No I dont know you. I am in PCA and NNJR but not active. Building a car, as you can see if you visit my web site. I filled in my profile too, so that should provide more information. I am orginally from the Bloomfield area, so I know your town well.

Ron: Thanks for the greeting! Hey, good luck with the 944 N/A. Cheap, but fun and good cars to drive.

    Talk soon guys,

    Rob

Thanks Barry! I am more on Rennlist than here. I am also a member of NNJR, but not active as I am building a 944T. Are you ever on Renn or no?

I was out at Bridgehampton about 8 years ago with the Porsche club. I was there with a 993, and my friend came with his 355. He's got an F40 and a F50! He just got the 355 and wanted to see how it tracked. The car was awsome. On the straight away I think he was hitting 140. Blew me away. But, there was this 944 that looked stock but showed up on a trailer. He ate us all up, except there was a 911 Turbo that blew fire out of the exhausts on the straights that no one came close to passing! I asked the guy in the 944 for a ride. Besides the guy knew how to drive, the car was amazing in the turns. Perfect balance. Bridgehampton was tricky on the turns. Most older 911's and even Ferrari guys ended up in the sand. Not a good day when that happens. Anyway, I was so impressed with the 944, I always said if I build a race car, that would be one of the choices. 1993 RX7 being 2nd. Good luck with the 944 project.

I also check out, not post on the "6speed" (Porsche) Web site. I guess I should join Renn List. Eric (933 Guy) is on Renn List.

Wow youre friend has some nice cars, Jesus! I remember Bridgehampton, for Ive been in the FCA in NJ for over 15 yrs. I loved that track, very hard on the tires and sand every where, but I did love it. Ferraris are my true passion, but, I am not up to the leagues of buying a Stradale. Eventhough I'd love to have one, bad! So for now, I'll have to settle with my 944 Turbo project. If you haven't, visit my web site. If you don't know anything about 944Ts, none of the mods will make sense to you. One of my goals is to have the car look very stealth. It will look like a total sleeper! LOL. Anyway, if you do know about these cars, then you should fully appreciate what I'm doing. And yes, Rennlist is where everyone goes to who has a Porsche. It's the number 1 site in the world. If you join, send me a PM and let me know your screen name as I can do the same too.

    Happy Thanksgiving.

    Rob

    :)
