I was at FOW yesterday, and drove a 2000 Red 360 Modena. Perfect History with recent Major done in June 06. Presently car has 12K miles. Paddle shifters.
Car is on consignment - asking $135K.

    Any input?

    Thanks!

I would guess around 124, give or take a grand. This is assuming all is in order. Ferrari of Houston (always more expensive to buy from the Ferrari dealer) has a 2000 with 20k that they'll take 120 for and it just had its service. That car is easily priced 10k over. Good luck...

My last ferrari was bought 3rd party - "All service records up to date, Perfect Car, etc." I ended up with an expensive toy with lots of issues.

Buying from a F Dealer - I can expect a Premium Price - but I hopefully can get "piece of mind" knowing that the service record is impeccable.

    Thanks to all who reply!

Really. You know, sometimes it's just a car thing. Sometimes you just can't predict what kind of issues lie ahead for a particular car regardless of where you buy it because you don't know how it was driven. Also, I agree in that the dealers are pretty good about checking these cars out. Sure there are some stories where dealer cars have gone bad, but I woluld say in general, there would be more issues buying from individuals overall. Sometimes dealers will not take a car. That said, I wouldn't think twice about buying a nice individual car that has been thoroughly checked out. If I had my choice though, I'd rather buy from a dealer, but sometimes the situation doesn't work out that way since there are so few fine cars at good prices (compared to Porsche, etc.). I'll keep my eyes open for you. Also, I'm looking for Red/Tan 6spd 00-03 (prefering an 01).
