    Thought might be interesting to see how many here know anyone or have seen an older working Ferrari F1 car. Have seen the only one here in SA, 1991 Alesi car, wow the V12 sounds fantastic but you wouldnt beleive how much prep is needed before one drives the car, heat all the vital fluids but when that motor is fired up and blipped, well ones eardrums vibrate but what a way to go deaf!

    Was wondering if old Ferrari F1 cars are ever seen at events in the states, have read about events in Europe.

    There's a few US demos including the legendary one where the guy broke his car in half - I think they are in Monterey threads

    I know a guy that has 2. He took them to Goodwood then back to the factory to be "freshened up". One came home about a year later and the other one came home this month after about 2 years. The one that came hoe first looked fantastic! I hope I have a chance to see the othe one soon.

    makes you wonder how long it will take them to send the bill :)

    There is a F1 owner of an Alesi car in Orlando. Judging by his time to prep, it takes the day to get the car ready.

    We had an event in Homestead Miami with a bunch of F1s for the Challenge race opener, including the largest gathering of FXX.
    Unfortunately I filed my pictures. You can find a bunch of them in the Florida section from this April marked Challenge Homestead race

    I think the owner said that the bill came in before he was to pick up his car.
