Where does the 348 top go?

    Sorry for posting such a noob question, but I love the look of the 348, but I was curious where the targa top stores when it is off the car. I am currently driving a 2006 Corvette, and the top stores in the rear, and latches firmly in place. Where does the 348 top go when it's not on the car?

    You have two options, 1 it slots behind the seats, 2 stick it in the bin;)

    Just like this, Doc.

    Oh, the top is shown here inside its storage boot. The two pins that locate the top against the targa roof section when in place go into two holes in the floor behind the seats.

    Jeff... you're such a show-off with all that nice mounting equipment!!! I wish my car still had the pouch and straps. Sadly, I use a big sheet of bubble-wrap on mine.

    (Actually, I rarely drive with it stored in the car. It's either left in the garage or fixed on the car itself)

    Bubble Wrap? That's SO ghetto! LOL!!!

    I'm 6'-0" and it's a tight fit with the top behind the seat. Not sue I can afford a truley comfortable Ferrari that has an removable top that is stored in the car!

    I got chuckle from that too Daniel. You own a parts house get one wouldya!! LOL. In the 7 years I owned my 348 ts I think I took the top off 4 times in those times it went in the garage. Regards, Vern

    Daniel, whatever became of the soft-top project? I bet that would fit quite nicely in the front bonnet...
