Didn't know this was such a sensitive issue with you guys and in your part of the world. Didn't mean any disrespect with my statement earlier, just didn't understand why one would make a fuss over a picture. Now I know. I guess there are different rules and habits in every part of the world. These are details maybe disregarded in our community. I take back what I stated earlier and I respect your point of view.

    Jim,

That looks like a lot of stuff that can come crashing down at any second onto p4/5. Does that ever worry you?

As that lift can support 100,000 lbs and the objects temporarily stored above weigh some what less than that not really.

Not to be dumb, but are the electrical cords for heaters for the blocks? I assume not in So Cal, since it never gets that cold. They must be for battery's?

Yep - probably trickle chargers for the batteries - not only does the battery going flat cause frustration when you want to drive the car, but certainly on this side of The Pond, no battery = no alarm/immobiliser = no insurance...

    That's nothing!

Check pages 4,5,6. Probably the best garage pics I've ever seen.

I think he's really referring to the contents of the garage and not the garage itself. With the value of Jim's cars you could probably afford to buy all the cars on pages 4, 5 & 6.

But of course Ralph Lauren probably has the most valuable collection of Ferraris that I have ever personally seen photos of.
