    Yes, when he is in the right state of mind, he rebuilds an awesome Lamborghini V12 engine, which is always "pushed" (as for my Ex-Shah Miura SV) wether you ask for that or not! LOL.

    Yes this is the ex-Alberto Silveira 1120222 car and Junichi Yajima has this car now with an ajustable wing on it, BUT this LP was made without a wing.

    Check out the original factory images of the car when new: gotta love the gold trim. Groovy!! The car Austin Powers should have driven...as you can see,Yajima has toned it down, but I think the goldwork is simply "Shagadelic baby! Yeaah baby! Oh DO behave!"

    ...In the mid-80s, there was a fire that started in the engine dyno room (guess why? Luigi set it at 8,000 rpm then went for a long lunch & siesta), and the records of the Countach LP400S were largely destroyed, being stored in the office directly above the fire. Valentino Balboni will corroborate this in case you are wondering why there is very little documentation from the 'works about this model.

    i always thought the same, Joe

    until some days ago i met a guy who has all the S production data (colour, interior,options, original owner and release date)
    he told me the first owner of my car, color combo and year by the VIN...

    Heehe, doesnt surprise me with Lamborghini... Ive heard of that too. You have to 'pay' to get them ;-)

    2002 I sent proof of ownership and vin # to the factory, they supplied me with all the proper build information and where it was shipped. So some records survived.

    I LOVE IT.
    one of the best looking car ever to me (well, i like a lot all the pre anniversary countach )
    there wasn't and there isn't anithyng like that

    i really think the lp400 is the best looking countach from most point of view
    from some angle it looks more a space ship than a car:Gandini is an artist and this is his best
    -i even like the useless periscope roof-

    (its only fault imo: it looks a little incomplete from the back view, the fat ass of the S has more appeal to me)

    imo it will reach miura's values soon and may be even more desirable than the
    holy SV .....
    the countach is an automotive icon, the 4 liter ones are the most collectable and the LP400 is and will be at top of the list.
    am i wrong, Joe?
