There was a situation with a person he was dealing with that had screwed him over on a car, I do not know all the details so i dont want to go making things up i will let him atest to that. The second URL his turbo visions site was done witha do it yourself website builder, i skimmed the thread didnt get much out of it. There are many people you can call about skylines, the silver silvia listed on the site is in the gurnee IL area, there is also a yellow R34 in the gurnee area that were sold under the turbo visions name. A few of JDM imported vehicles vehicles that have been brought over and sold can be seen below. We are business partners. I no longer own the hosting company, just used this due to the fact that it was the name that i was use to using.

Oh man. It would have been hilarious if he replied "I'm just his web hoster" and then you posted this after. But oh well. Dr.S, is the "SELF OWNED" card created just for him? Had me Rofl!
2. I work for him not the other way around so what more can i do? 3. As previously stated all purchase are able to be made in person, or in an escrow under the buyers terms. 4. That is his opinion there is nothing we can do about that so why even bring it up, let alone he cant come directly to us seems a bit unporfessional on his end. 5. What car did we lie about? 6. Age means nothing in the business world, I know this seeing I started my own company at 13 and was more successful then those that were 30. I unlike you have other things that i am doing while i type this, i do not have the time to type this elsewhere, spell check, then paste the corrected version here.
We can give numbers to verify to 1 person we are not going to have the whole forum calling people asking if they had bought cars from turbo visions.
I'm talking about your web site, moron. Everything about spelling and grammar and professionalism have been primarily about your site. (Well, not the IM stuff.)
We are business partners. I no longer own the hosting company, just used this due to the fact that it was the name that i was use to using.[/QUOTE] So do you guys have an actual office or is this pretty much out of your home? I mean for having already sold several cars, including exotics, you should be able to afford office space. Also, do you have any physical cars for sale yourself? If not, why not? Have you guys ever driven, or even seen half the cars you sell? If I'm paying $1.4M for an Enzo out of California that's listed for $1.2M, why am I paying you that premium if you've never seen the car? You can't vouch for it at all.
then tell me who AIM screename "jillane wine" belongs to. it surely isnt Ben, he has good writing skills (better than the ones you have shown, and he has some more class than what i have seen out of you), so if there is only 2 of you, tell me who else it is
We will be opening an office in FL some time in december. Physical cars we are selling, the silvia is a physical car we are selling, otherwise we have a couple cars on their way but they have not arrived yet, shipping takes 3-4 weeks. I would never expect someone to pay that much for a vehicle that they do not physically inspect themselves. Which car are you referring to that is marked up $200k?
Okay, but explain the Lambo GTR having the blurred photoshop background? Almost seems as if you wanted people not to recognize the background in the original picture... ? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Any exotics you are selling? A Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bentley.. If not, why not? Isn't the point of a broker to be the all-knowledgeable source in car finding? Again, with the Enzo example, say I want a great red/blk Enzo, 1000 miles..etc..etc.. To me that means I want you to find a great Enzo with my specifications, verify authenticity, and physically check out the car extensively. While I will look at the car itself, the point is, I should be able to trust you enough to not even have to look at the car physically.
Those are how the photos were sent to me in an email from one of our partners in Europe, I did not blur them myself so im not sure why it was done. I overlooked the "site" my apologies.
Why not, at this time we are not interested in having a physical inventory. Maybe some time over the course of the next few months we may want to open a small lot. Me and Ben as well as our other 2 employees have discussed this and we would prefer to rent an office suite rather then start a car lot. We will have someone certified inspect the vehicle, not personally inspect it. Many of the people we are currently negotiating deals with have had their techs that they know and trust inspect the vehicle for them rather then having us do it. The enzo is no longer owned by them, it is owned by a private party that has marked the price up from what they were originally selling it for. Seeing that it is a 1 owner vehicle with 37 miles he is trying to get a premium price for it.
As I said, unprofessional. On both counts. (No company that wanted to be taken seriously would EVER post up such altered photos. It simply makes you look guilty.)
And you should be doing both. Just because you have dealt with Nissan's in the past does NOT make you qualified for exotics. It's simply a different level. You need to buy a couple 360s, or Gallardos and sell them. You need to be fully understanding of every car you sell. Take out a Bentley Conti GT, F430, Gallardo, Murci, SLR, etc..etc.. You're being paid for your experience. Good luck to the new owner. But what is your mark-up or rate for your business?
I use to work on Bentleys, Ferraris, Mercedes, etc. at my previous job about 6 months ago. I have some experience with the vehicles, but not enough to where I would do an inspection personally. Even if i did I would still rather have a trained and certified ferrari tech, or bentley tech, etc. check the vehicle regardless of if it was for a personal purchase or for a client. I understand where you are coming from 100% and i am sure ben will be looking this over some time tomorrow as well. Generally depending on the vehicle it is 3-10% depending on the price, which is always negotiable. There is a deal we are working on now that i believe it is a 1.5% markup due to the cars that they want us to locate for them. Also in regards to legitimacy you can reference the lamborghini thread below where Mark from SP Engineering in California attests to us being a legit company because we are working with him directly for lamborghinis he is searching for. http://www.**********.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=21311&hl=
That is one of the 5+ FXX's we have access to, we have many more then just those pics as well, I have the VIN as well as car number for it, like i said we have nothing to hide. some of the photos were sent to us from one of our partners in Europe, then we sourced additional photos ourselves.
If you guys are trying to be legit at doing this you are destined to fail, quickly. You should have an inventory of some exotics, even if it's a Gallardo or 360. You simply cannot provide proof that you know what you're talking about without that, plus it will build your rep and experience. 3-10% is very high. For an SLR you're talking 10k just for a finders fee and that's on the LOW end. REAL brokers actually try to SAVE you money. I don't even believe dealerships clear that kind of profit margin. Also, why would I pay that money to you? What incentive do I have from buying from you as opposed to someone of the likes of Roy (Cats Exotics) or Chris (Premier). Both have their own stock of exotics, both have worked with exotics, and both have a very proven track record of what they do. You say age doesn't matter in business. Truth is it does. People simply do NOT take younger people as seriously. If I looked 10-15 years older I'd get more credibility just based on that to most people. In your business it matters even more. No 20-something, or whatever your age is, really knows anything about these cars. When your average exotic buyer comes to you they think they're dealing their kid who they know as sitting at home on the PS3 not knowing what a real job and responsibilities are. As I said, the way to enter into this business is to acquire a couple of these cars then sell them yourself. That should be number one priority before even getting an office. No one will really take you seriously until that happens.
Cool, what is the vin# then? And I am sure you have "access" to it. Same as I do if I sent them a check for $2.5mil. And how about this....?
