    got mine re-temp rego'd and home again... all dirty at the moment. Even with only 2 cooling fans, it stayed calm in traffic today... 35 degrees in shade.

    Very happy car.

    why wouldn't it? no matter what the temp, my second fan very VERY rarely comes on...one fan keeps it happy.

    sounds quite normal to me.

    errr... it's all about cfm and heat dissipation peepee

    365BB only had 2 fans and smaller water capacity... get a bit hot in hot day traffic.

    BB512 need 3 fans... mine got by with 2 but it went a whole notch over half way.. didn't burp any water out or have any drama though. But I do have and will fit the third fan now.

    512BBi had different fans again, and inclined radiator

    Nah, rubbish. Mine's never run hot and I've taken it own on very hot days in old Sydney town

    oh ok... maybe Ferrari added a third fan for fun then ... ;)

    Like I said... mines ok with two too... but if some part of the system should become marginal, I'd be grateful for the third one... which I'll fit asap (next year?)
