    It all starte here...

    http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=129040

when Charles questioned how such a company could offer the cars they do, even one that Ferrari says does not exist to US specs. They whole thread is pretty funny with Napolis putting the smack down to the "company" they we found to to be children operating out of Mom's Condo.

Well I emailed MDM and asked them about a Lambo they had on their site. This was my reply:

So I then asked them about a Jag they had and got no email reply. However, this morning(Nov 28th) I received these two PM’s:

Needless to say my response is the same one that AlpineSilver19, DanC, that ass in CA, and a few others received……

Gents, MDM boys, children, first things first….

Slander is spoken, in print it is Libel you morons!!! (Didn’t you see Spiderman?)

Secoundly, learn to read a clock!!! You sent that PM at 12:53 am (Midnight) on Tuesday!!! Sending a threat and saying you sent it on a Sunday when you in fact sent it on a Tuesday DOES in fact make you look like a child.

Thirdly, bring it on. I completely challenge you to make a court case over this.

Here is only one of the points of contention I can think of off hand…. I think the first thing I would do would be discovery of the means you have to use photographs on your site you neither took nor obtained permission to use.

So please, enlighten us on how you obtained permission to use all the photos on your web site. Some of the people that own them are on F-Chat, so lots of luck

Another point would be to say I "hurt you" for calling you on your crap would also be to say an exec with Ferrari did the same thing. I would LOVE to be on the same side of a court room with FCA.

So now, good patrons of Ferrari Chat, what say you?

well, i was thinking the same thing about the pictures on their website...those are copyrighted, yes? some stuff from Ferrari's own site, and pics of cars owned by people here...i say what a great way to start a 'company'. whether they realize it or not, they're doing scandalous stuff. can anyone find info on their business liscense and the like...would be interesting to see. the thread is kinda funny and sad at the same time.

Let's see what happens at the end of the auction. If MDM is real the high bidder will take ownership of the car for auction. If not, then MDM is 'not so real'. If I were betting I would bet on 'no sale'.

As the internet evolves, eBay continues to strike a balance between preserving transparency and protecting our Community of members. eBay has decided to change how bid history information is displayed so bad guys cannot target bidders with fake offers using this information. In certain cases, some bidders will no longer be able to view Bidder User IDs on the Bid History page. Your User ID will be shown only to you and the seller of the item you're bidding on. Other members will see an anonymous name, such as Bidder 1, applied consistently to the Bid History page.

I like to know who's bidding - never very much trusted the private auctions. Perhaps the new eBay system is necessary, but I think there are drawbacks.

The new system shows all of the bidders "real" names after the auction is over (if the item is sold)

I can't tell if this is better or not, I like to know who I am bidding against.

It does not seem to be showing the bidders real names on a auction that I was watching that has closed with a sale.

I for one don't like the new system, I also like to know who I am bidding against and frequently do not bid against friends on Dino related items but I also like to see what the competition has bid on recently to help me decide my price, if they regularly buy related items or just a one time thing. For example Dino stuff, if the competition has purchased a lot I might bid higher to make sure I get it, if I need it.

Well, it's not exactly a lease car. A guy I know called Ostereng is selling his FXX here in Scandinavia. And I know for a fact that car, and owner is real.
