Given that the LP640 and Murci have identical dimensions, do you think it would be possible to put the LP640 front bumper onto an older Murci? Visually it seems possible, but I'm not standing near both of them to judge!

Why wouldn't they? If I had a Murci the first thing I would do is buy the LP640 taillights, the LED's look way better then the red/orange/white strips.

Same reason people buy wings and other things for their car. :) The front the LP looks really nice, was just wondering if the two bumpers are interchangeable! Ya, the taillights are another thing that looks better than the older style.

Yes on the bumpers, NO on the taillights. They use a different wire harness to run the power of the LED, way to costly to re-wire.

    speaking of front bumper:

I've always wanted to see how the front bumper in a Murcielago would look
with a single huge intake instead of those 2 lateral grills

I mean just remove the center colored piece between those 2 grills

Would anyone please perform that photochop ?

I bet it would look much more exotic and meaner .

I hate the front of the LP640, completely kills it for me. To me it looks like a knock off of the Veilside front for the Toyota Supra. Which wouldn't suprise me if it was intentional given the 300zx headlights ;)

The Diablo has Nissan lights, not the Murci.

i think the lp640 looks great the way it is. I didnt think it was possible to make the murci more agressive looking but they proved me wrong. They did a great job IMO.

The LP640 makes the almost perfect looking murci look perfect. What really bothers me on the murci is the rear bumper. It doesn't come down low enough to the ground. They fixed that on the LP. Is there anyway to fit an 07 rear bumper as well as front bumper onto a murci?
Any idea what front and rear 07 upgrades would cost? Would this be something that a dealer would do? If not could an aftermarket company do it?

    -Peter

PS Are there any differences in the rockers between 07 and previous years?

I'm not sure of LP640 part prices, but IIRC the front bumper on the original murci runs abot $14,500 and the rear bumper assembly was over $17,000. I have the price quotes from Lambo but not in front of me.
