Do you like the early 348 SS cars with no tail light grill? How about a 348 with 355 tail lights...(*shudder*) How about that?
I can only imagine the pain of seeing the prices of dinos after selling 20 years ago... Anyway, as a 355 fanatic (not an owner yet) I would always tend to reccomend one. However, if I were to buy a more recent ferrari for investment purposes, I would reccomend a 328 gtB. The B cars are much harder to find and a late model car (ie. 89) would, in my opinion, alway be in demand.

Al, Don't listen to any of these guys they are all wussies and drive light weight cars!! Except for maybe Doc's 348CH. Hahahaha. If you want a REAL later model Ferrari then you need to buy a 355CH. Vern, for all of the grief that you and I give each other, I still have to admit that you've got a great spoiler on that 355.
Pap, a local here (also fchatter Greenhouse) has a black Countach. It's so loud that it made my 348 run bad. How?! I was following Mike to a remote Alabama winery (will wonders never cease?!) and his exhaust was so loud that I was shifting based upon *his* rpms instead of my 348's! I couldn't hear my own exhaust!
It would be about the only 355 I would own. Because of their exclusivity for future profits to be made. Plus they look great. I should buy one hey?
Mike was the last to arrive one morning for a local drive of Ferraris (yeah, he brought his Countach that time, though), but we knew to wait for him because we COULD HEAR HIM COMING from a couple of minutes away. So yeah, it's fairly loud.

Thanks guys, one of those cars that is not for the faint of heart. The only changes made from race days was raising it a little, street tires, carpet and door panels. The exhaust is the factory CH system, it would be hard to get pics of it(it is interesting). More intertainment than I'm supposed to have, hahaha.
