Sunday blat

Everyone must have been on the way to the cricket instead of Sunday driving this morning. I went out with a couple of friends, one of whom brought his 13 yo son along and there was almost no traffic. We had a great spontaneous blast through the hills until the little blue Clubman(?) ran out of petrol coming into Birdwood. Easy to push - they weigh bugger all. Good fun had by all.

I have to take my friends 8yr old son for a drive when I can. Ive got a Ferrari hat and shirt coming off Ebay for him, so when I pick him up, he can throw the hat and shirt on for toughness reasons. That will make his day Im sure.

haha that was a fun day... likely the dirtiest you'll ever see those cars

as we showed a few weeks ago the Gallardo actually has excellent range... you can make it all the way from Melb to Adel on a single tank!

Must have just missed you. Norton Summit, Ashton, Corkscrew, Gorge, Gumeracha, Birdwood, Gorge, Corkscrew (I like that road) and down Montacute.

 

Was thinking of checking with you if you were up for a drive..dowp!

Had a lot of adrenaline left over from the V8 Drive Day at Mallala on Fri. That was an awesome day out. Best lap for me was only 1m 45s and best lap on the day was 1m 39.5s. Not fast, but not bad considering I haven't driven a stick in the last 13 years.

haha 100% no 'manipulative' photochopping on that one, just some contrast adjustment. came out nicely i reckon.
