Who will it be?
I hope Massa!! Alonso??? who the phuck is alonso? Button? don't know, he's not a bad driver, just don't see him become WDC ever....
I would say Kimi, but out of your choices, Massa Alonso is SOL now that he doesn't have his reliable Renault, and Button? really.

Kimi, world drivers champion, Massa, a close second and the Constructors championship. Alonso....engine failures...priceless.
I would place Massa on top of the list in 2007 (but not WDC), since he is a steady driver with a good team in a proven car. Alonso next, a good driver adapting to a new team. Hope the McLaren reliability improves though... Button?? It's completely irrational, but I can't stand the guy! Maybe because of the over-generous exposure he is getting in the British media. I don't see him a very motivated... an opportunist. His first GP win was a fluke to me. Plus I would rather see anything win rather than a japanese car... Why Kimi is out of the equation?
It's laughable that you'd go to such lengths to exclude Kimi. Massa is nothing more than a fast-on-his-best-day type of driver, and will never be WDC material. The most he could hope for would be an Eddie Irvine-like wiff at the championship as beneficiary of some unfortunate circumstance to his teammate. Button, when he has a car under him he's looked strong, but then again he struggled to find his first win, and it was hardly a straight fight at that. I'd have to see more to consider him a threat, and this would also require a best ever effort from his team, so that's a long shot to say the least. Alonso is a stud. The only question is will McLaren step up? Big question, but don't make the mistake of thinking FA was flattered by the Renault, this guy knows how to win races and championships and I think it's enough to pull the team along with him. My (obvious) prediction is Kimi vs Fred for the championship. With Kimi pulling it off.
It will be Massa or Raikkonen. Alonso will be lucky to place in the top 4. Without the best car, he is just mediocre.
Ron, put away the booze now, look at what FA did with that car in relation to Fischella (who by the way blew Massa into the weeds during their time at Sauber). Alonso like him or not is a superb driver.
You forgot Fisi too, 1. Kimi 2. Massa 3. Fisi 4. Alonso 5. Button 6. Kovaleinen 7. Hamilton 8. Kubica 9. Rubens 21. Michael Schumacher(he'll still have as many points as SA so why not)
Button is an absolutely huge dark horse this year. I'm actually thinking about putting money on him. A major transition year with the two best drivers on new teams. Technically, I think Honda will do well. They seem to be the only 'new' team to be producing fast cars consistently over several years. Button had a better performance in 2004 than Fisi has ever had. And Fisi has had fast cars the last two years.
Good? Yes. Superb? No. Let's watch him in a mediocre car. If he does well, then I will agree with you. Until then......
1. Kimi 2. Massa 3. ? Possibly Ralph or Jarno. Really it's anyones guess. The fact that Toyota's the only team other than Ferrari to have been running on the Bridgestones will play to their favor but it's still up in the air.
