What is up with this 1992 Ferrari 512 TR?

I know this car has a hostory of the Odometer not matching up on paper and so on, anymore news on this car? it's at unique motors in Philly.

so no one knows about this 512 TR?

 

As I recall it's been discussed many times. You might just try and do a search for it on this forum. The car has been for sale at that dealership well over a year. I think the problem with it is "true mileage is unkown".

 

Also if I remember correctly it was cheap for a 512TR because of the mileage and condition. Everyone concluded you kind of get what you pay for.

 

I think Sonny Crockett smoked alot in this one....hence the leather smells.

 

it sold lst week. I wonder who the poor misled guy was.

 

Anyone know the S/N so we can keep an eye out for it showing up somewhere else???

Out of strict curiousity, how would one go about doing a "search" for this particular car on this forum?

I called on that car over a year ago and remember being told that the major service had been done and that the books had been stamped by the dealership selling the car. Something just didn't feel right and I decided I couldn't buy a white one.....

 

Judging from everything that has been said about this car I believe you did the right thing...
