Oh for the love of leaving these cars alone!.....this was a very cool single-mirror car, and I drove it very comfortably with just just the occasional glance in the mirror. Also the original Sebrings have about the same mirror surface size as the wrong Californias....anyway, its not my car anymore.
But, she still looks great and David's clearly a good home.

A repost, but one that makes me smile.

Rex Greenslade (magazine tester) to Noel Gibbs (LP400 owner):
"We are just going to give it a gentle test to see what its like to drive...."

OK: I know the owner of the white one. PM me if you wish to pursue but lets just say its not time well spent...
The Motor Trend car has the 475hp motor (NUTS), but nary a clue as to where it is.
The Cannonball car is the Holy Grail but will need to be restored... but it now seems that the chances of Mr Rice parting with it are about as likely as a Hawaiian Tropic Girl without a tan!
But there are others being sought too, even as we speak, fiendish and cunning plots are being hatched to unearth hidden gems of Bravo-shod Countachs that lie stashed away, far, far away from prying eyes.... ;-)

I'm trying to convince my wife that we should come to Monterey this summer. It's a long drive though (2-1/2 days) and I'd probably trailer this one down. When I met with Balboni 2 years ago, he remembers my car as, according to the records (suspicious at best), there are only 5 cars like this one ever built and this was the first as it was a custom order from the first owner. It has downdraught carbs and the paint is called Rossa Speciale (Italian for deep burgundy) I am the second owner and the car has 16,000 KM total.
