Henkie - Here are the diagrams of the muffler hangers. Offhand, do you know which model # X-OST you were shipped from your supplier? It should be F1.06.10 Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
yours looks like mine i have a 93 348 speciale. i just put in test pipes and a capristo exhaust. the spring mounts...... mount on the same holes as the bar did, but turn them a quarter turn when you bolt them on. see where the spring mounts to the muffler, now mount the bottom of the spring mount to the two holes, where the bar was mounted. at this point, the spring mounts now face each other.... pm me with your e-mail and i will send you some pics of mine and you will see everything!!!
Hello people Thanks for your input. As I can see from the pics the "hangers" look the same. No matter if they are from the single or double system. (part# 6+7) That's what I wanted to make sure. As I am at work I can only look at the X-ost model # at home later. But I guess it is the right exhaust. I can tell you one thing though.. Original 348 single muffler: 17kg (37.50lbs) The X-ost muffler: 11,5kg (25.35lbs) That's 32% lighter ! I pass drive-by and accelaration clips asap as promised ! Check out tomorrow.
Hello people As promised I have here a nice clip to download for you from my 348 with the X-ost mounted. Give me your opinion about the exhaust please... 1:50 min. 42mb DivX AVI High resolution 3mb/s. http://www02.rapidfile.fr/wget.php?id=MSPILod8 (press: CLICK HERE TO CONTINUE) (then scroll down, you'll see a 60sec clock ticking down) (press: CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD and save)
upload it on youtube.com it is fast for you and everybody that is gonna wanna see it. I can do it if you like
But the resolution on youtube sucks big time, don't you think so? I wanted to show it the best way. You can download on this French server superfast, try it.. it took me 1:50 (360kb/s) Here is the "youtube" streaming version... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hz7Ri6rUNKw
You left your camera on the side of the road? Dude... it must be safer in the Netherlands than in my neighborhood! WOW WOW WOW!!! It sounds GREAT! Henkie = "not a prisoner" to the other brand. A true brother. (and I didn't even sell the damn thing to him)
Oh oh... again someone who doesn't install some codecs once every year It's a DivX, problably you haven't got the codecs of the last 2 years..... Download a pack somewhere, it's all freeware. Besides that, the youtube will be on line in a minute I guess. (take the link in my former post)
JZ............relaxxxxxxxxxx mate (pap passing over the doobie to him.) I will order one in around 10 days time. I had to save up some money. Pap is only a blue collar working class man unfortunately. Not that its really necessary now, but I will post some pics fitting the exhaust and some pics ect.........of the "before and after" dyno shootout. We will see if these really pump out the HP numbers as well as providing music to our ears. P.S-Someone remind me in 10 days time in case I forget.
Done and done!! Daniel is the king!! When the new batch of XOST hit Ricambi from Italy, he will post one out to me. Wont be long before I will be listening to the way the 348's are supposed to sound!!
For those of you still not convinced of the great sound of the X-Ost, my 348 w/X-ost and Hyper Flow cats from Ricambi. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pLk76AGp6lY
ok ok, all excited for x-ost! But... between X-OST and Tubi 1) which is the best sound?? 2) which have the best price?
Well.. I paid for my 348 X-ost GBP 950 (EUR 1407) delivered to my door. They* mentioned it a introduction price at Ebay in the UK. The cheapest Tubi I can get is at my sub-dealer for EUR 2200. You name it..price wise. For the sound, guess it sounds ok, I posted 2 large clips.
The cheapest I could get a Tubi/Capritso in Aus is around AU$5K. XOST are alot cheaper than that. So for the great sound they give you, im sure it is better value for money going with an XOST.
