I know the game Grand Theft Auto is popular, but I never heard of the game, Federal Wire Fraud. Is that available on Playstation?

They should have someone check their website for errors before going online. Look at the Aston Martin link under their inventory it says, under the logo, eyewear of excellence. What a freaking joke.

Anyone call them and inquire about the Murcie? Should set up a private showing, have Roy overnight a key, and take an extended test drive.

Wow, sounds just like the old sub-lease scam companies used to run. They would take your leased car on consignment and then sub-lease it out to someone else for your current lease payment plus a little on top for themselves.

They would also charge the new lesser 3k or 4k up front and then the company would leave town when the authorities found them (illegal in every state now to sub-lease cars).

Then the original owner (me) would be left holding the bag because the sub-lesser disappeared with the car and the broker is no were to be found.

I had to hire a PI to find the car as I couldn't declare the car stolen because I willingly gave it to the broker.

I ended up paying a PI 2k to get the car back and on top of all of that it was completely trashed (about 6k of damage). Also, I had no legal recourse with the guy who we repoed the car from, so it was on my nickel to fix it.

Man did I learn a lesson on that one; I sure hope you come out of it better than I did Roy.

    Man...

I am in Houston and would've offered services of some sort had I read about this earlier... perhaps sitting in front of the dealership and following the guy as he left. This is severely F-d up and I hope the guy gets what he has coming. I will keep an eye out as the guy sounds stupid enough to drive it through downtown flaunting it.

BTW: They are not picking up the phone at their "business".

Whether you pay 60 cents on the dollar or 30 cents on the dollar, what makes you think they will pay him after what they've done? Theyll take the $ and run.

    Thread in too many places!

So they DON'T have it, to surrender to Sugarland PD as agreed????
They make all the deals in a Strip Club at 11PM????

This sounds like a stall to me........to much heat so they have gotten rid of the evidence?

Who bought it, Roy? Do we have a name? Does SPD have contact info on the client?

I'd trust the guys as far as I could throw 'em!

Jeez. If the local authorities were on site, and the owner told them that the car was sold last night (after closing?), did the authorities ask for copies of the contract, or ask for the current location of the car?

..and they've flipped from "want it, gotta have it" to ' don't want it, won't pay for it, take it back' to " sold it, made some money, all is well" in 48 hours!!!

    WTF????

A bunch of flakes! I say we frost 'em!

I'm in Houston as well, I read this off of Houston-Imports. I might be able to help you out, my sister used to work for Autodynamics and knows the boss at Autodynamics well. He might know what's up.

Ad says 1,105 miles on the odo......SOME kind of test drives going on.

Thanks, Tom F1...I gotta get by up there and put some Track Lights into that garage of yours! I have one Lambo banner left! And the Pirelli poster!

They didn't have it on consignment........Roy wants to be PAID.......

These guys obviously don't understand the exotic market at all......you can do this stuff with 'used cars' but the exotic market is too small to deal this way.....no question who I'd pick, on this deal!

Checking my calendar they are TWO DAYS LATE on getting Roy his money.....while they do the DooDah Dance for the local authorities.....

If I can reach the New Owner I'd be glad to explain the difference in a Real Title and a Xerox Title..............the real ones have signature lines on the back.

Did they show the police a contract or a suitcase full of money? How does the story of "the Sale" even stand on two legs????

*container crane swings unmarked 40' box into Liberian freighter, out on Dock 17...*
