Exoticar does it again

that's bs about the price increase. i would demand a refund and get it somewhere else.

 

I got burned too and should have checked their mediocre ratings on Amazon.com before I ordered with them. I guess I was carried away by their website, their ads in Forza Magazine and their nice brochure. They charged me for two Elite cars and only sent me one. I had to go through my credit card company to get my money back as none of my emails to them were ever returned.

 

Exoticar has been a topic here in the past , do a search on them. If you can't buy it from them in person, don't even bother ordering from them, 95% of the time its not in stock.

 

i've never had a problem with their store on park avenue

but glad to know they're shifty when ordering over the phone or web

 

Their store in NYC is very nice. The problem is indeed when you order from them online. They are just very disorganized when it comes to the processing of online payments, management of inventory and shipping.

 

everytime a new desirable model comes out

they claim to have it in stock in order to receive ORDER$$$

My dad asked me what I wanted for christmas and I pointed him to a lot of stuff on exoticar. I hope it gets there for xmas but now I'm not so sure.

I'll add my $0.02. I had several cars on order with Exoticars online, and called in ~once a month to be told that they are all back ordered and they're waiting on new shipment to come in for 10+ months. It seems ridiculus to me how products are not being replaced for 10+ months if they are trying to be stay in business.

I gave up after 10+ months, and told them to cancel the order. Their customer never showed any caring for me as a customer.

 

You canceled the order and probably purchased the cars elsewhere. I guarantee you that Exoticar will all of a sudden ship to you even though you canceled. That's what happened to me so I ended up with all these duplicate models. I had canceled my orders with them by phone AND email and they still kept shipping to me. Finally, I had to close down my credit card account to prevent any further charges by them. Exoticar can go to hell.

 

Agree. I never visit NYC without stopping in to buy something there. Have always been treated very well.
