Guy was an absolute nut... http://www.dpccars.com/car-movies/12-03-06page-Lamborghini-LP640-crash.htm --RS
There is a thread on this already in the UK section... very dumb driver. I don't think it's totaled though.
I can understand wanting to go fast, but on a crowded, narrow, and packed road is not the place to do it. Good thing no one was hurt seriously or killed.
^what rob said....that guy is a friggen idiot, someone should take that car away from him, hes retarted for driving so quick down such a narrow road...i the accident knocked some sense into this dumbass
Doesnt look like it was totalled. Maybe 30k on a rental, maybe more if a personal car since it now has a story.
Diminished Value usually loses to replacement value in the insurance world. Companies usually don't pay according to sentimental value, if they did my vette would be on fire right now and I would be planning my retirement.
FYI, Murcis get frame damage very easily in frontal crashes. There have been similar crashes where the visual damage looked minor, no major cracking or sheet body issues, but underneath all the composite was ruined.. 75k in damage is more like it IMO, same issue with Vipers too.
