by the way, they have alot of cars in their showroom; maybe 20 to 30; they have two jag convertibles and both are listed on ebay, a bunch of BMW's and porches and quite a few mercedes.

    update

CAR SPOTTED APPROX 1PM TODAY HEADING INTO HOUSTON ON THE MAIN HIWAY BEING DRIVENBY A BLACK MALE.

At least we know it is still around. Sad thing is this guy probably put cash down, not knowing whats up. When he gets stopped, which he will, they will jerk the car and the poor guy is out of luck......

The only GOOD thing is maybe this guy is a CRACK Dealer and returns to LOCATE JOHN with his gang and hs AK 47, CAN ONLY HOPE on that part!!!

SO KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN, IT IS OUT THERE!!!!!!!

The davids bend rd address is a house on a corner...exactly 1.7 miles away from daddy's house...which has a lovely LARGE Christmas tree with white lights all around it right in the front window...Daddys house is in a gated community....they really should close those gates at night...

    We're on them now !!!

Ah yes....that would be the "Texas Justice" wouldn't it? Not exactly what the law enforcement would want, I'm sure.

Hmmm..black guy....was the comment on the sale "baseball player" or more generic "Ball player"...maybe we are looking for a Rocket instead of an Astro......?????

Any baseball fans got a roster?

We can narrow this down quickly........

Didn't something happen like this with Mario's Motors over on Richmond a couple years back? If I remember correctly there were quite a few cars that were stored there for out of town clients then moved somewhere in south Houston to be sold off. At least they got caught in a sting operation.

In the other thread....apparently the Astros released the only black player to St. Louis last season.

Looking for basketball or football, I presume.

Justice would be for the Lambo to just drive up to the dealership to have some service or mechanical questions about the car, For Roy's sake I hope that happens.

That is assuming that the player lives and plays in Houston. It is the off season and there are lots of players who don't live in the areas that they play in. Lots of guys who play for the Twins for example don't 'winter' in Min.

This still leaves the problem of the dealership. So... I wonder if there is anything I can do. I have a very good connection with the county over there - it's actually better than good, but I'm not going to say. Is there something that can be done to expedite putting these guys out of business or better yet... away?

all i know, is that global is going to have convince several people that he had the car sold and there was a delay in the cash "clearing" so he could wire the funds. i have never seen a dealer take cash. cashiers check, yes, but cash, no.

even if i went to the bank with a cashiers check for that amount, i know the bank would hold it for a couple of days to clear it and wire funds

The sad thing is, a couple of returned phone calls would've cleared it all up and the 'seller' would've made some $$$.

Congrats Roy on getting your car back. I was watching for it in Dallas! :)
