This looks like a very nice car from the outside. Beautiful paint. No underside photos. It will be interesting to see that happens....

Absolutely LMC cars. I recognize the ridiculous snap exhausts and the poor reproduction tail light lenses. Not to mention the same license plate!!

The dealer is Auto Haus Los Gatos, which is a small dealer in Campbell on Whinchester Blvd.
They have never been related to Ferrari of Los Gatos which is now called Silicon Valley Auto Group.
Maybe its nothing but in the first picture of the rt side of the car, the rear tire seems oriented to the rear of the wheel opening. Any comments?

Doesn't it seem odd that the pictures on E-Bay show two dif. license plates for the car and two sets of picts. taken at two dif. locations?
This is the car advertised by lmccars.com. Check out their web site.

Some of those pictures look like Mizner Park in Boca Raton, FL. I think that this car may also have been at Classic Investments in Colorado. Regardless, I wonder how much of "Northern California Car" it really is. I'm not saying it's not, just saying that the pics tell another kind of story.

What does "no stories" mean? Already we have two different plates, "cheap reproduction tail lights" and incorrect exhaust. Looks great to me, but before I plunk down whatever it's going to take, I think an expert eye better go through this car. It would seem there's a few tales to tell.

Their cars seem to take forever to sell.
I was watching the 330GTS and 275GTS at Legendary MotorCars and noticed the 330 in the 2004 Monterey auction with the wrong serial number.
    I'd be wary ...

The owner was an employee at Apple Computers Cupertino. He must NOT of known what he had because he listed / sold it over one weekend. I missed it by 20 hours. It sold for around ** $525k ** The Buyer dude was from Colorado with ONLY one intension, MAKE MONEY! He rebuilt and detailed the car, couldn't afford it, and now it's up for $725k. I've got nothing good to say about such a transaction, but we'd all like to flip a car in 4 weeks for $200k, oh well, Buyer beware. 3/4 Mil for a Two Cam! yikes.

The tail lamp lens are correct amber/red for USA cars, but the back up lamp, radio set up, and seat inserts are detracting. Ditto the phoney snap exahust tips.

Was that Apple employee their former CFO? I believe he had one or more 275s. He would know what he had, of course, but then $525 (1/2 a graz) for a 2-cam seems like all the money to me, too.

In my humble experience when the amber is as light in color as it is in both the tail-lights and in the side lights it means they are cheap reproductions. It may be nit-picking but the correct color lenses look so much better on these cars. Also, I always worry about people who supposedly restore cars but lack the initiative to seek out proper color lenses for the lights. Where else do they cut corners?
As for the back-up light it is correct as is the the radio set up. I have seen aftermarket radios and they are usually in the center. The seats are odd but there were so many variations that it is hard to tell if that was original or just someone's active imagination.

If the Four-cams are gettng a $Mil or close, then what's a 2 cam worth, yes I know there more difference then just that (rear window size, trunk hinges, torque tube...)

Actually a late model 2 cam, (from 8305 to 9021) have trunk hinges, larger window, and torque tube just like a 4 cam. The only differences I can think of are the engine size, 5cm larger front grill, 2 radiator fans, hood bulge, different exhaust set-up, different frame in front, vinyl dash, and interior hooks to hold a hanger in back of your head. Some people think a late model 2 cam is a better car than a 4 cam. I think a perfect late model 2 cam freshly restored by the right people is worth a million bucks, and next year it will be worth even more.

Well, it looks like nobody bought the 2 cam on e-bay. Only went up to 525K. I guess no one likes them any more. Just another old car.

Maybe the guy who sold it for $525k last time wasn't so dumb after all?

Come on guys. $525k is a crap load of money as it is. These were $200k cars about three years ago.

It’s kind of funny, we vintage guys pretend that it’s all about the sport and passion, yet we get so buzzed because our 275 or our Lusso or our PF coupe fetches this much or that.

I know, I know, no one hates money.

Somehow I don't think that car was seeriously for sale on EBay. Many dealers use EBay for cheap advertising and to creat buzz on their cars. This car still strikes me as strange, it appears odd, is in everyone's inventory and carries more stories than my ex. Actually, come to think of it is is just like my ex, probably not real anyway.

I OWNED THIS CAR FOR 32 YEARS AND SOLD IT TO COLORADO LAST JULY.

    1. THE MIZNER PARK FLORIDA LOCATION FOR SOME OF THE PICTURES IS CORRECT. THAT IS CLOSE TO MY HOUSE.
2.TAILLIGHT AND REPEATER LENSES ARE ORIGINAL. BTW MOST FERRARI ANCILLIARY PARTS COME FROM OTHER VOLUME CARS OF THE PERIOD..275 TAILLGHTS FROM FIAT 850 COUPES, OUTSIDE TRUNK HINGES ARE ALFA 1300 HOOD HINGES, ETC.
    3. I BOUGHT THE SNAPS NEW IN BOXES WITH INSTRUCTIONS FROM CHINETTI IN 1974 OR 5. THEY ARE NOT REPODUCTIONS
    4. THE RADIO SETUP IS WHAT CHINETTI PUT IN US CARS. I BOUGHT MINE FROM THEM THRU CRESSMAN FERRARI IN FORT LAUDERDALE.
5.THE CAR IS EURO..ORIGINAL OWNER WAS THE ITALIAN JOURNALIST SANDRO CIOTTI WHO BOUGHT IT DIRECTLY FROM FERRARI.
    6. US TAILLIGHT LENSES ARE ALL RED.
    7. 2 AND 4 CAMS ARE THE SAME DISPLACEMENT.
    8. THE CLOTH INSERTS IN THE SEATS ARE CORRECT. 275GTB SEATS WERE ALL LEATHER ON US CARS, AND CHOICE OF LEATHER, VINYL, OR LEATHER OR VINYL WITH CLOTH INSERTS. THAT CAR ORIGINALLY HAD VINYL AND CLOTH AND I REPLACED THE VINYL WITH LEATHER. SEE THE ORIGINAL FERRARI BOOK BY KEITH BLUMEL.
    9. THE CAR GOT SILVER-89 PTS AT CAVALLINO IN 2005. NOT BAD SINCE I ACTUALLY DROVE THE CAR. MAIN THING "WRONG" WAS THE SNAPS AND STRAIGHT PIPES.
