speaking of scale models... take a look at mine I just got these 2 RICKO models http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=129740 P.S. somebody please post a reply thus my thread will be seen
yes, they are silhouette mirrors, vitaloni california if i remember well i bet David still has the sebring stored and changed them tryng to see something LOL
Oh for the love of leaving these cars alone!.....this was a very cool single-mirror car, and I drove it very comfortably with just just the occasional glance in the mirror. Also the original Sebrings have about the same mirror surface size as the wrong Californias....anyway, its not my car anymore. But, she still looks great and David's clearly a good home. Joe
I agree 100% See Joe, your should have sold that car to me Well if that special car we were talking about ever comes about you know how I'll treat it.
...so no Santa?? Ouch....!I thought at first that Roy -of course!- sold the deers for a worldrecord price!!! Ciao! Walter
A repost, but one that makes me smile. Rex Greenslade (magazine tester) to Noel Gibbs (LP400 owner): "We are just going to give it a gentle test to see what its like to drive...." Image Unavailable, Please Login
Can't... the owner wont return e-mail at this time. I'll bring one for sure, I just have to find "THE ONE" before the Concorso. After the 4 Countachs that I have owned, I know the 3 or 4 that fit the bill, now comes the hard part. Tony PS: Here are 3 of the 4 Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
OK: I know the owner of the white one. PM me if you wish to pursue but lets just say its not time well spent... The Motor Trend car has the 475hp motor (NUTS), but nary a clue as to where it is. The Cannonball car is the Holy Grail but will need to be restored... but it now seems that the chances of Mr Rice parting with it are about as likely as a Hawaiian Tropic Girl without a tan! But there are others being sought too, even as we speak, fiendish and cunning plots are being hatched to unearth hidden gems of Bravo-shod Countachs that lie stashed away, far, far away from prying eyes.... ;-) Joe
I'm trying to convince my wife that we should come to Monterey this summer. It's a long drive though (2-1/2 days) and I'd probably trailer this one down. When I met with Balboni 2 years ago, he remembers my car as, according to the records (suspicious at best), there are only 5 cars like this one ever built and this was the first as it was a custom order from the first owner. It has downdraught carbs and the paint is called Rossa Speciale (Italian for deep burgundy) I am the second owner and the car has 16,000 KM total. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Steven, You have a BEAUTIFUL Countach! Ive got you covered... send me an e-mail, and I will respond, with a note to your wife giving 5 good reasons why you, her & your Countach NEED to be at the Reunion. Take me up on this. Joe www.lamborghiniregistry.com PS - "Rosso Speciale" was previously known as ascribed to some special Miura SVs and SVJs as "Rosso Granada"
