Today was his first public appearance with Ferrari, joining them at Jerez. Not allowed to speak for contractual reasons, he just attended a tech session with the engineers and spent a short time with Massa. He attended the test as a way to get to know his new team. Expectation is that he will not test until January (not that far away!). Carol
I have also heard reports that he sat in on a debrief with Massa. Its good to know hes showing good interests and not just waiting until the last minute. I believe he is aware this is his best opportunity to become a world champion.
Perhaps that's what a FXX is.....It could be a F1 car underneath the skin and Kimi is just taking his "street car" for a spin on the Fiorano track.....
Ooooh thats even better than the notion of an underground test track. I can't wait to see Kimi in the red gear. Does anyone know if he will still be endorsing Tag Heuer with Ferrari or if that ended with his time in McLaren, same question for Oakley I suppose. I'm happy now that he'll be sporting Puma gear, its a bit more in my price range than Hugo Boss. Yup I'm a brand whore.
Ferrari should paint an F1 car just like McLarens and have Kimi test that. Or they just need to build bigger walls around Fiorano about 40 feet
A new employee is always gun-ho when they first start...lets see what the old boy does by mid season...after Massa has twice as many WDC points as he does...
What? If you think Massa is going to lead Kimi by much more than 10 or 20 points, you're crazy. Massa will start off stronger than Kimi, but by midseason it should start to even out and Kimi should take the points lead.
Agreed, Massa should definitely have the advantage into the beginning of the season, but after Kimi catches up with the team he should clearly be the faster driver, if not he's grossly overpaid.
