the saddest part about 360/430's for me is that i spend 90% of the time that it takes to go by trying to figger out whether it's a 360 or 430, and only 10% of the time enjoying the view. dammit i wish the 430 looked more differenterer. (i do the same thing with porsches...)
exactly! it's inexcusable that ferrari just massaged an existing design for a car that is really a huge leap forward.
bah! u could never mistake one for the other surely! those big gaping holes at the front of the 430, the more slender lights, the 'baby enzo' tail.....
yeah but you're talking *details* !!!! i can see that as soon as it's close enough, or if i'm looking at one parked at a cafe... i'm talking about seeing them passing by in traffic where i love to see exotics the most. a testarossa, i can pick that 2 miles away, same with a 308, *any* lamborghini, and even a 550 once it gets close enough to notice it's not a supra. overall they (360/430) look too similar at-a-glance-at-speed, which honestly is the worst thing you want for a breakout sportscar, because really, it *is* a big leap beyond the 360.
sarcasm doesn't translate well in pixels without smileys so not sure what you're saying.... either way, don't spoil my theories with facts!!!!!!!!!!!!
don't worry about it...you're not likely to get any from phil. just assertions based on the dreams he has....nothing ever seems to be based on fact
um....after reading the above posts i'm not sure if this is still the Ferrari spotters thread i spotted a black 355 spider (i think- there was not much street light) parked with the top down on Currie St near Light Sq about 12 30am
i'm no authority on adelaide exotics but i only know of a couple 355sp's.... black lived on ward st north adel for a while, tubi exhaust, orgasmic sound. another black lives at henley beach, and a dark blue is "somewhere between glenelg and city". oh, and there's a bunch of red ones around too but meh, who cares.
hmm....... tick tick tick....... nah don't know any. i only know three 348's here, all red, 1 tb and 2 ts's. but the main point is you've gone from possibly a black 355 spider to a blue 348.....? ooh hang on, yeah i checked out a blue 348TS a couple years ago at prestige (the *other* one) but was really disappointed with the interior, the stoopid clicky buttons were such a backward step from the aluminium dash with aircraft toggles of the 308. fookin sexy car... not sure blue is the right colour for a 348, sadly i've only seen red on the road.
yellow F355 spider in braeside today, lovely! shame about all the bushfire smoke...poor states ablaze
