Well , I decided to take the plunge and put different wheels on My 88 Mondial 3.2. I put 18x8.5 up front and 18x10.5 in the rear. I got the wheels from Highline Wheels in Florida. I have heard that some have had trouble with this company but my experience has been great. Sorry the pictures are kind of poor, I'm having a bit of trouble with my camera. I'll get some better pics this weekend when I'm out playing.

    Hey John,

Personally, I find your choice of wheels---------------quite nice. Your Mondi looks wonderful. I just may wait for the opportunity to throw some F40 style 17's on Rachel. I love the original ABS 16's but damn, those Speedline 17s are hard to passover.

    Anyway- - cheers, Hank

Thanks for the comp Hank, You must be the only person that likes them, or all the other mondi owners raptured and you and I are whats left. I agree The GTO/F40 style wheel looks great. Have you seen the one at Nicks Forza Ferrari? That was the look I was originally going for but I thought this style would update the look a bit more. I think Rachel would look good with either style rolling under her.

Not a Mondi owner, but I know what looks good, and those wheels look good.
Very update and very tastefully done. Keep up the good work.

Looks great, did you use any spacers for the wheels?

No spacers needed just shorter lug bolts.

Which also explains why I am still here.
I think they look great - what is stunning is the contrast with the flowing lines of the black coupe and tinted windows. Of course, I am biased...

I agree that Rachel will look terrific no matter which shoes she wears... but I am also partial to Speedlines... :)

    Hey all,

I couldn't wait to make this post for you folks to share in my joy!!! Carsten is making some prints and upon completion, will forward my (his) drawing of Rachel & Hot Doc Freckles, which I believe he gave the title "Garfield's Exotics".

    Hope you like it-----------------

    Hank,
thats incredible. I have been watching the progress on the other thread and am amazed at Carstens talent. I really like that he was able to incorporate the X-OST in after he first sketched it with the stock system. You must post pics after you get it framed.

    Thanks Hank, :)

"Garfield's Exotics" is 100% correct for the tittle! :)
My local printer was somewhat busy yesterday, so I was not able to go to the post office in time, before they had closed! :(
Anyway, the drawing will go with the mail from here, first thing on Monday morning, and I really hope it will reach you before Christmas Hank! :)

    Cheers

    Carsten

There are two ways to do it:
    a. buy adjustable perch shocks ($$$)
    b. have adjustable perches put on your shocks ($$)

FChat sponsor Carobu Engineering did mine. Ask for Tate and tell him I sent you.

This came up in the cheap Mondial thread, and I know it's probably not factory, but this is the ONLY Mondial I've ever seen with a "Boxer" paint job. I've seen them on GT/4s and 308GTB/S, but this is the only Mondial.

I think it looks absolutely and uniquely great, and if it checks out, would make a terrific daily driver as it is WAY inexpensive. I'd just put on a set of belts, change the fluids and filters, keep it detailed, and drive, drive, drive....

Yeah, I like it too. I would change the wheels though, at least to the later 3.2 style if after market doesn't flip your switch. It would really look good with The GTO/F40 style wheel.

i've thought of the boxer paint scheme, but........ i dunno know. the description on the add says it's fresh paint so not sure if they decided to do that or if was ordered that way originally. my guess is that it was done recently.

anycase it looks good but i sit on the fence.

as for going low...here's an old thread on what i did. not cheap, probably have about 3k tied up in it but it is very sweet. :)
