    didnt this happen like 7-8 years ago..driving down LaCienega past Blackhorse Motors i saw LAPD cars and stopped to find out what was going on....find out that only a few months after stiffing investors and a few banks by filing bankruptcy for the 2nd time,then changing the dealer name that Rick Black aka Black and Black has been evicted from their location at 1701 La Cienega and while moving out furniture was also starting to thrash out the showroom just as he did 7-8 years ago at the wilshire/la cienega spot.besides the fact hes been blackballed by the every exotic car dealer,wholeseller and broker along with the mutiple current lawsuits in LA courts for collecting depostits on Ferrari 360 and 430 cars and not delivering them it looks like Mr.Black will soon have another worry.....its called KARMA .

    Blackhorse Motors isnt going anwhere and judging from the sheer number of cars in their shop are doing quite a brisk business..

    Carl and Blackhorse Motors has always been the master leaseholder,its their building 100%,,,IIRC the court docs that were stuck on the door a bit back indicated that Rick.Black at one point had a sublease on the front half....

    whats that old holiday saying?........yes virginia........there is a santa claus!!

    its been common knowledge among exotic car folk how that guy has burned more bridges in LA than OJ! and after that BK/namechange bit the fact he was still in business (if you can call having only one 5 year old Ferrari on the floor in business) these the past few months(not to mention still having both legs) is quite frankly a mystery.i personally was banned from the Black on Black side of the building after stating those exact points.(along with a few other things usually heard on Dice Clay CD's) and he declined an invitation for dance lessons at that moment!...but like your post said.....KARMA has a way of catching up!!To try and screw over the person gracious enough to rent him floor space only validates Blacks complete lack of character! and maybe im jaded because ive known Carl at Blackhorse Motors for over 20 years since he was a kid turning wrenches at Lyle Tanners but if one asked any of the local Ferrari shop owners who employed Carl over the years before he started Blackhorse Motors,the parts guys at the local "official" Ferrari store or for that matter even the competition you would get the same answers:a true gentleman!
    that other guy?.across the board it would be POS..good riddance!

    i walked into his store 4 years ago when he first opened up looking around and i left with his secretaries # and some memories that ill never forget

    good thing i never gave him a deposit for the 360 i wanted at the time

    i always felt that there was something fishy about him

    From what I heard, Carl is getting his dealers license and will be selling cars in the front himself.

    He really needs to get another bar, though! :)

    Didn't anyone else find it odd that there was always that old maserati parked in the alley behind him on airdrome? like the car never-ever moved.
