Nice! I had a 1994 Speedster about 8 years ago and loved that car. They actually sell for more now than when I sold it. If bought right some of these cabs can be bought and used for a bit with little or no depreciation. They are fun cars. Enjoy it!

So you like, eh? How does it compare to the other Porsches you have owned and loved (not that you are the kiss and tell type)

Thanks, all. To answer your question, Dale, this car is certainly nowhere in the league of the 996GT2 I had, but it has certain attractions: more 'old school' feel and interior aesthetic, a useable driver, very involving, even at moderate speeds, and loads of character, including the sound of the air-cooled powerplant. I 'updated' the car with HID lamps, 18"wheels and new, lower profile rubber, and had alot of little nits (including a new convertible top) addressed. With all that, I'm still in it at a reasonable price, and it is a relatively low mileage (20k miles) example. I plan to use it as a daily, except when the roads here are horrendous in the winter.

i think you would be hard pressed to find a better sports car than your new 993 cab. they can do it all and you can drop the roof. hard to beat the value and performance.
