One clue that it is a modified periscopa (apart from the obvious roof) is the narrower rear track than a standard LP400. The chassis of this car is clearly an unmodified LP400 chassis from which the wider wheels were mounted, likely still from the LP400 wishbone type suspension. I dont even think this car had parallel-linked suspension, which was laso the case with Wolf's first modified LP400 1120148.

You can see from the Periscopa below that with flares added, the rear track would have to be increased to fll them out.

This image answers all the questions...."Bravo" is just a nickname ascribed to this particular style of Campagnolo-cast wheel as shod by the famed Bertone BRAVO prototype.

The wheels were truly made famous by the Countach S Series 1.

This was the prototype for the production S Series 1 with its spats and front bumperette reworked by Gandini to reflect the car's lines.
Walter Wolf had this car finished by Dallara Automobili SpA complete with parts accessed from his F1 Walter Wolf Racing team's affiliation with AP (Automotive products). Triple plate clutch, front-to-rear adjustable brake balance, 5 roll-bar settings and Lockheed brakes (!!)

I am abolutly convinced that if Lamborghini would have build the BRAVO following the unlucky URACCO they would have made more cash in those days. What a glorious car! A radical design also!

    Ciao!

Can you see the "Speeding" rear wheel arch line as in the orignal LP500/400?

    Joe,
The one I linked in post #362 is a picture of a picture (sorry so grainy) that I took at Mid-Ohio Raceway in June of 84. The car had Ohio plates.
I don't see any on the Registry that I guess to be that car.
    Any ideas?

    No, not 1068.

The wing is wrong and 1068 has DOT side marker lights, not the ones shown in that picture.

1068 had one owner in the US since 1982 and I bought it from him. (Mr. Claypool) It was in Florida all that time.

Even though I only had 1068 for 5 months, I do know it inside and out and have pics of everything.
