Tubi GTC on F430 (Pics)

Here are some pics of the Tubi GTC fitted on my buddy's ride. After fitment, found that its currently roaring louder with better torque and response as of compared to the original muffler. *

after this, awaiting the full Hamann carbon kit + 20" Race Edition rims...


* was able to tell the difference when we removed the GTC and fitted the original back due to some error code which hopefully (cross fingers) have been rectified.

Same here.

I've heard bad things about the Tubi for F430.
I'm considering modding the exhaust for my car as well.

Any opinions on Capistro or Tubi?

 

Looks pretty nice, I like the tips on the Tubi exhausts.

Tubi seems to be a popular choice in the UK, when people mod the cars. As most people dont mod the cars too much over here.

I ordered same color (just reaffirms my choice). Also the new challenge grill is nice contrast. Since the exhaust tips are unusual, you are likely to get yes/no opinions. As for me, they look a bit "busy", distracting me from an overall view of the car.

I like the sound of Capristo on the 360 better. Capristo 3 + Tubi Headers makes for an amazing exhaust sound.

I dont like the Tubi tips, and the 430 need either headers/muffler or hi-flow cats and muffler, just changing the exhaust doesn't seem to "wake-up" the car like it did on the 360, different set up with valve's, muffler, timing etc.

 

yea, agree. The tips are a little out of this world. Nevertheless, it distinguishes itself from the others.. hoho.. As compared to the other Tubis', the GTC is the loudest and to me, it provided a little more rumble and torque. Or was it the sound difference tht made it?

Interested in getting the header and also cats replacement, can any of you recommend any without getting the car back to the dealers for yet another error codes? It suck when we have to send it in again..

Was suppose to get the Capristo, but the Singapore counterpart recommended GTC if we wanted it to wake the neighbours, so we opted for the latter.

Anyway, the exhaust note coming from this Skyline muted the F430 + GTC, nevertheless, its engine sound was far greater than the Skyline.
