I did a search and nothing really came up except something about his cars being taken away. If this is a bad subjusct could I at least get a PM about what went on? Just curious is all, he was always a good guy to everyone along with myself

YOu probably won't get much on this because it is a sensative subject around these parts.

The one thing that I do feel safe saying is that he has moved to the Eastern U.S.

I heard about it through someone who's not even on this forum that he sold his F40 and moved away. I was hoping to find out what happened so if someone wants to give more details, surely there is more than can be discussed.

Never mind.. did a quick Google search and I think I've got the jest of the whole thing. Wow, that's sad when you're low point can even be found on Google.

Roland portayed himself as a winner of LeMans, driver at LeMans, etc. However investigation of said statements by certain F-Chat individuals showed that said statements were not necessarily accurate. (Some would say they were complete falshoods.)

The ensuing discussions on F-Chat were vitriolic and intense, with some of Roland supporters defending him, perhaps beyond rationality, same could be said of his detractors.

What made it worse was that Roland never defended himself from the charges.

All in all a very sad state of affairs. Roland was very ill during this time and the whole thing turned into a big mess.

I don't want to get in any trouble for spreading rumors but if you were to Google 'roland f40' you might have some luck finding the same link I did.
