29 years and 7 months for me. Bought John Apen's black 308 QV. That was Sept 1997.

I originally decided I would own one at the age of 13. That was back in 1981 and the 308 was the hot model. Took me 16 years but I kept my promise to myself. I'll never sell her either. Love it, love it, love it!

It was 1984 when I saw my first picture of the new Ferrari called the Testarossa, or Red Head. I fell in love immediately and after devouring the accompanying article I knew that one day I would own one. That day came 22 years later in September of this year. I was 42.

In 1984 I had a full head of red hair and the Red Head was the rage. The TR is still the rage - at least in my mind, which by the way, is no longer covered in so much red hair - what's left is more gray than anything...

Oh well, at least some things never change. The TR is still a supercar. If you can swing it, definitely go for it.

I was 12 when I saw my first one up close and said "Dang! Someday I'm gonna have one of those." I was 40 when I said "Dang! What am I waiting for?" and bought one.

I bought my first Ferrari at 29, my F40 when I was 39 for my fortieth B-day.

Cheers........get one even if you only keep it a short while.....

If bought correctly gently used, and properly serviced, a few years old, you won't really spend a lot on an ongoing basis, and the experience is priceless!

(or you could develop a strange "Ferrai-related' obsession that your wife will deem a 'mental illness', like me!)

I was 24 when I purchased my first back in 1971. It was a 4 headlight 2+2. It had 23K km. It was much easier to drive than I thought it would be.

My friend Miguel (Challenge Stradale on FChat) has a Challenge Stradale and he's just 22 years old now. He specced out his first Ferrari (360 Modena) at age 17 when he was still in high school. His CS is his 4th Ferrari and there are more on the way.

    First time in a Ferrari, I was 49. I was co-driver in a Maranello.
The driver was the former F1-driver Michel Alboreto.
Next year, when I was 50, I bought a 93' Ferrari 348 ts. Now I have had my Ferrari for 7 years

I bought my 308 at 35. When it was delivered on the truck, it was the first time I had even seen a 308 up close. When I drove it into the driveway it was the first time I had ever even sat in a 308, nevermind driven one! To say I was lucky that I didn't get a total lemon is the understatement of the century!
