This guy is top notch. I visited several powder coat shops in Pittsburgh, I felt the most comfortable with this guy, he appreciated that he was working on Ferrari parts and wanted to make them right. Plus he did not rape me on price becasue I owned a Ferrari. Top Notch.

VERY NICE! I always see all cars have that common rust build up of where the rotor connects to the hub. Its always such an eye sore. Looks like they did an excellent job.

Word of caution when cleaning the wheels because of the newly painted rotors, you want to avoid using very strong wheel cleaner solution. I have heard many horror stories of people using strong wheel cleaners even a few months after getting their calipers painted and the paint literally starts to drip off. Talk with the shop that did the work and ask about their paint process and suggested methods of cleaning them. If you frequently clean your wheels well enough, car wash soap should be sufficient enough anyway without having to use stronger cleaners.

I totally understand. That is why I had them powder coated. 100 times tougher than paint. It would take a very strong thinner to hurt them or fade the color. Plus nothing really sticks to the powder coat. Soap, water, and sponge and perfect and clean every time so far.

GQ: Nice job. And thanks for the info on Prism – I bookmarked them for future reference. I had some powder coating done by Colonial Auto Body in Bethel Park. No complaints, but it’s always good to get recommendations.

They look awesome!! Just make sure to grease up your brake pads and rotors before assembly.

(DISCLAIMER...THIS IS A JOKE BASED ON AN OLD THREAD, if anyone remembers).
