if you look at the carrent models dating back to the 308 you will see that the model has a two car design tweek lifespan 308 328 348 355 360 430 not too many changes to the bodies of all these cars....but masive internal changes were made
I went to the Kwinana Motorplex last night for the street drags and who do I see there? A F430 Spider and the C6 Z06!! Both ran high 12 sec passes for those interested.
errr... 206, 246, 308 GT4, 308 GTB/S, 328, 288, F40... are all basically the same chassis with only small subtle revisions... but I get your point
Here's a question for you - why always Cafe Sienna? I've eaten there twice and both times the food was crap and the service worse. Surely you can go to better places to eat, especially on Chapel St?
Do you know anything of the black LHD Spider? The photo of both cars appeared in an internet advert some time ago. I recall that the dealer was in Melbourne. The Spider is either a replica or a US conversion of a GTB. The ex-George Parlby spider (now black) is with a dealer in North Sydney with a $550K sticker. Lots of luck... It was a Straman conversion done in the US in the mid 80's, few of these cars had the right reinforcing, so would be all over the place on Aussie roads. George bought it to a NSW display day once and tried to pass it off as an original spider. He got the sh*ts when about 5 people pointed out the obvious facts, so he put it back in his truck and went home.
