    (Mods please move if necessary..)

Not Ferrari related, but technical! I put new oil in my air compressor (home/shop duty) and I noticed that it is "non detergent ISO 100". Now I know what non detergent means, but what does ISO 100 mean? Specifically what would this convert to in terms of oil weight as I commonly know it? ie; 10, 20, 30, weight etc...

Well, it must not be related to the International Organization for Standardization -- there is no ISO 100 in there.

Mke, thank you very much. I tried to look it up but was unsuccessful. I knew I would get all the information I was looking for here.
