Spotted this product before, But Carcoon just looks so cool!

Was in WH Smiths a few weeks back flicking through a copy of Practical Classics mag. They had comparison of 8/10 car covers for outdoor use. Cant remember which came first but Specialist Car covers came second overall.

What surprised me is that Covercraft (the product I was actually going to buy) who market their outdoor cover as the ultimate in outdoor protection actually came about 7th. Plus theirs is more expensive than SCC's cover. Also SCC covers are a perfect fit, and tailored to the shape.

I know which i'll be ordering...

    Adnaan,
before ordering , check out car cover systems. I bought an indoor cover a while ago and while it's not the most glamorous of websites , the products are well made and reasonable priced @ about £100 inc delivery.

Tried to get one for the missus car, but it is still a pain as she uses it every weekday. If she ever gets around to buying a runabout I will seriously consider one.

My first choice would be to move house to one with a double garage!!

You would be better off with a size 5 which caters for the extra width of a Ferrari. Will pm you some details.

The cabinets are made by Stanley Tools, I'm well impressed with them and excellent value I thought.

I got mine from a local tool suppliers, they are shelf assembly with plastic bodies but the doors and shelves are steel.
Very strong, take quite a bit of weight, mine do have paint tins etc in.
I 've got 4 wall cabinets, 2 floor cabinets under the bench and a tall floor standing cabinet, IIRC they cost me about £350.
I have seen them in the Argos catalogue a couple of years ago.

I am sure I see them in a garden centre that is a Qd type spin off, I am sure they were £29 each, I will have a look there in the new year

Sounds good. Need to sort my mess of a garage out. Looked at some in Machine Mart but they were a little expensive from what I remember.

Interesting tip:- My up and over garage door had a 1/2" gap at the bottom. I drilled several holes, split a doors (width) length of hose down its length and attached it to the bottom edge. Hermetically sealed garage :D

Not sure if it's appropriate to post this here, but if anyone's interested, I have an outdoor Carcoon that I don't require anymore now that I have a heated garage. Used to keep my 512TR in it, so width won't be a problem :)

It's only been used for a year, and is in very good condition. Going cheap to a good home.

Thanks Steve, I have seen them in solid grey/silver rather than the transparent, I presume they still have the same fan system?
