I would say that this is the best time of year to sell a car in Florida. The weather is just getting comfortable. The dealer probably just made a $5000 seasonal adjustment. That particular dealer is pretty nice to deal with, not pushy at all in my experience. YMMV

I can't believe nothing sounds fishy to you all, or the fact that you think its cheap for what you are getting! He says ODO was changed when the engine was rebuilt, WHY? Why was the ODO changed? He gives AN APROX. mileage that was on the car at change, also scary. Now the car has at least 71K on it. maybe more depending on the true mielage when odo was replaced. JMO of course.

I don't know if cheap, you know I think it might be "fairly priced" if you also consider the car was recently serviced after previous owner decided to sell requiring a complete clutch reassembly, brakes and tires. To me it reflects either a previous owner that ran and dumped it or neglected to keep up w/ routine maintenance......maybe.

I don't know this dealer or how long they have had this car in stock but it is an old trick (however weird this may sound) that if you have a car you can't sell, you actually raise the price. Maybe this is the case? I do agree with gothspeed, that console looks damn near perfect!

Yes, you are right! I thought this was another 355. I didn't see it was the ODO change 355.

I will try not to make such crazy remarks like: "IMO its still cheap" which is no longer my opinion, since I now know this is the odometer change 355. ;)

It does!! It looks better than mine! ;)

I wonder if the car sat outside for a long time.

Those seat belts and the fabric behind the seats both show fading.

We've covered this car before. I wasn't the only one who commented and actually talked to the dealer. Someone else was going down to view it, but we haven't heard from them.

The adjustment might be for marketing reasons. They might be tired of having to explain why the car is priced so cheaply, so they figure to increase it enough to generate more serious calls. This way prospects are not immediately turned off by such a cheap price that they figure something is really wrong with the car. This is not the first seller I have run into who has done this.

All said, it's probably a decent car, just with really high miles. They couldn't tell me if the valves were done, but they "guessed so since the engine was rebuilt". They never got back to me so I figured it wasn't or they cannot tell.

I know this dealer personally and have nothing but good things to say about them... Very nice, honest guys to deal with. They always have a nice selection of exotics on their lot in Ft Myers. Car looks to be in good shape imo and yes the dash looks exceptional...

But I think a FERRARI should be red. I have a F355 Spider that I paid $74K it is in mint condition. It has 45K miles, which are high, but the interior and exterior were in exceptional shape. I take care of all my cars and use the dealer do all the maintenance so no question is asked about the records.
YEA I KNOW I AM A FANATIC ABOUT CARING FOR MY CARS. My wife reminds me all the time. But I do take care of her car too.

    Just putting in my 2cents.
