At least we can see these plates. It's getting more and more difficult to identify Lamborghini's when all licence plates are covered these days.
Let's keep on showing "da plates" of there is not a special reason to do so. For the sake of history please, nobody is going to die!

    Grazie e Ciao!

That yellow LP400 could have ended up in Holland later. We had one here.
    yellow/cognac interior.

    Bye!

Thats 1120030 and I bid on it through someone else unsucessfully when it was sold in 2002..... the auctioneers said it was Walter Wolf's car, but Wolf said "no".
Look how LOW the LP400 and the Miura are compared to the Ferrari 330 GTC.

I checked it out, the covers were right..... The car was upside down. Problem fixed, and all is well in Lamboland. Nice catch Tony.

Very nice Greg, I LOVE it in silver.

Mirrors covers indeed are upside down...:)-0) but thats an easy fix.

    Tony knows his stuff......phew.

But seriously though, Im always suspicious of those that get UPSET [as sometimes happens on this website] when someone knowledgeable is simply trying to helpful and point out the way it was made, or what is correct-for-original :)
So, I know some of us are rabid purists, but thats OK too. It can be helpful.

We have the same problem with Miuras. Drives me nuts. A freind who shall remain nameless once stored his Miura SV in my garage complete with its upside-down "S". Lets just say that when he picked it up it was correct again! Never bothered to explain to him and havent till this day. LOL.

Yes, upside-down "S" badges, additional Lamborghini Bull badges (that shouldnt be there) and LP500S/QV mirrors appear to be the leading 'mods' on many 4-litre cars.....but, in spite of it we love 'em all.

PS- Did I mention color-changes? LOL.

    Thanks Joe,

The mirrors have been that way for 4 years and nobody noticed, except Tony, the guy with the goofy mirror fetish.LOL. Trust me, nobody is upset here. And now that they are corrected it looks funny to me, I'll get use to it.
Now, can you guys find the other small items that are not correct?

No of course not, you guys are far too genuine a bunch of enthusiasts to let any honest observation upset you....

I was making a reference to when I started psoting here all those months ago and I made an honest & candid observation about a car and the owner went nuts. LOL. Wrong mirrors are wrong mirrors, a color-change is a color-change (and some still consider it a 'crime' if its from an unusual color to "re-sale red"), etc etc. Sometimes youve just got to make the peace and carry on <<rolling eyes>>

The idea behind candid observations is to learn from them. Ohhh, Ive done plenty of learning the hard way these past 20 years of messing with Lambos. LOL.

Your very kind Joe, but there are 3 things, maybe 4 in that photo, other than the mirrors.

Correct Joe, picture was taken by me while it was still Dutch owned.
Confusion about Wolf came from a company's name of a Lamborghini dealer in in Dusseldorf: Walter Wolf GmbH.

    Best regards,
    Marcello
