A friend of mine shot this, he's also a member here (auto-ography). They got up to 205mph. http://youtube.com/watch?v=nQeKqDmfU3w#
WOW...that thing is off the charts. Nice color too... You may want to edit your post to not mention the location of these runs. Just a thought...
that thing is a beast it rockets out very nicely, lots of power if i had that car I'd probably kill my self driving it. i wonder if you put it up against vitalli's Diablo on the take off who would win. that would be an awesome race. Ferrarijoe
NIIIICCCEEE!!!!!! Seems to put the power down VERY well!!! Does anyone know who did the conversion???
i'm pretty sure those conversions are heffner jobs (www.heffnerperformance.com). they also have a TT Gallardo, and i've seen it do some insane 4-wheel burnouts. on the site there's a guy with a stock looking viper street car that ran an 8.75 at the track.
No way the diablo will touch that FGT. You can keep your $100. Just looking at the video I could see that GT is fast as balls. Its running racing slicks in the back which means he would just blow the wheels loose on street tires. (Since the gearing is so tall on the Ford GT that means he is putting down a **** load of power) Also the m6 (which is a fast car in its own right) was charging hard to pass the FGT while cruising. When the FGT accelerated from probably 60 mph the m6 just had a chance to reach his door before he got up to the BMWs speed then walked away. If that car is putting down 1000hp to the wheels or crank (850 wheels) at a weight of 3300lbs. It would beat my vette. (786 rwhp ~3050 lbs) It would kill the diablo which while fast in its own right still weighs almost 4000 lbs and at best would be making 600 AWD HP. Just my $.02
I always tell people about the GT being an absolute rocket that can compete with the best, and they just laugh...maybe i should show them this...
It would kill the diablo which while fast in its own right still weighs almost 4000 lbs and at best would be making 600 AWD HP. Just my $.02
Buddy this is no ordinary Diablo Hey vitalli where are you. give us your input on 0-100 ? Ferrarijoe
Buddy this is no ordinary Diablo Hey vitalli where are you. give us your input on 0-100 ? Ferrarijoe
Exactly, i think i remember the specs on this Diablo, its the TT diablo correct? 900 whp+ i believe?White or yellow?
Buddy this is no ordinary Diablo Hey vitalli where are you. give us your input on 0-100 ? Ferrarijoe
an ordinary 99 diablo VT dynos around 350-370 awd hp the SV puts (diablo rwd equivalent) puts down around 410 rear wheel hp on a 150 shot of Nitrous the SV with intake exhaust etc will dyno around 520 to the wheels SP engineering in LA was able to pull 550 rwhp out of a 6.0 liter diablo with all supporting mods and a 150 shot. so even giving Vitalli the benefit of the doubt being the highest HP diablo with spray out there I would say he would put down the equivalent of 600 rwhp at a fighting weight of 3500 lbs + 300lbs for his weight +100 lbs for his fanny pack There is no way a 3900 lb car with 600 rwhp would come close to a 800+ hp car at a lighter weight. Ask Bryan how i would know this
As an owner of a 99 diablo myself i'd say any fgt with that much hp would tear any diablo apart. Even if they were hp matched, the fgt would still kill it given the weight difference alone. Oh and as to what rob is referring to; I'd say it's safe to say we know vitalli's car fairly well. (pics below) Oh and just to let you guys know i have vitalli on the phone right now and a race is being set up as we speak using my car as the control car given it's the exact car just bone stock so results coming soon...
