    Thanks Romeo.
This one of the few things I really care of together with the first place trophy from Nurburgring 2000

i just received an old omega from my grandmother
belonged to my grandfather, who got it from his boss. should be from the 50's

i believe it is one of the first series of seamaster watches, with chronometre

mechanism works excellent, gold dial but with some ugly stains under the glass
are these easy (read: cheap) to get cleaned up?
and are they worth the effort?

Omega Speedmaster, identical to this one -

I really like Omegas, very elegant watches. I looked at a few others in this market (Tags, Breitlings) and i felt this to be the best option.

I am only a watch fan, Nivada makes beautiful watches but i am not expert and i don´t know if this brand is better than, for example, breitling or others. regards.

I like Nivada watches, owning a chronograph, and Antarctic and one of their day-date dress watches. Their values have increased steadily over the past 2 to three years and if you pick up a good one, you won't be making a mistake. What watch are you considering?

have a look at the ebay link i posted a few posts back
i'm kicking myself for not buying that.

i'm looking for a nice (recent or vintage) divers or pilot watch in the 300 - 400 euro zone.

recently got an omega seamaster from my grandfather, and got addicted...
    :)
