No power mirror control, window crank without the big ring. I'll guess late 400S early 5000? Wait mirrors in the wong spot LP400 Early 400S, final answer.
It can't be a 5000 since it has no "padded design" stitched into it. 400 or 400S. Metal window crank looks 400 or early 400S1
*sigh* These guys are just too good. Its actually John K's LP400 (itll be at the Reunion). Clues are the flat door panel (LP400 or LP400S), and the Alfa GTV/Spyder window crank, which is LP400 from 1975 on, and early LP400S. John, you just won a cup of Concorso Coffee. LOL. Joe
Who can tell me what chassis number the first green LP400 is? :-0 Check out the period 70s cars and van in the frame. How do you like the one in "Azzuro Cielo" (Sky Blue), with tobbacco interior.....? Also a rare one of the Countach LP400 prototype road-registered with gold wheels when in Renee Leimer's possesion. Look at the gold one ("Oro Longchamps"), just FAB, baby. Joe www.lamborghiniregistry.com . Hmmm, being around the cars since the early 80s, Ive only ever seen piping on the 5-litre cars on....BUT it doent mean that that Alessandro Gucci didnt order his that way! LOL. Joe
Yah, and notice how they sure did love white interiors in the period.....as did some of the Princes, Emperors, Sultans, Kings, Sheikhs, Jet-setters and pimps that ordered the cars new Joe
BTW, the image of the green LP400 was taken in the parking lot at the Le Mans 24 hrs race in 1975. He didnt have to drive too far to get there. That should make it easy, it can only be ONE car....cmon guys. Joe
If fuel injected with US bumbers...$80K without bumpers...$90K If Downdraft Carb with bumpers...$135K without bumpers...$145K
This is what I mean, please note the lights behind the lenses. WHY are they the placed the wrong way, with the orange part pointing inside. I have seen this on many cars... Ciao, Marcello
I know of one in the USA with over 30,000 miles that needs a clutch that has been driven hard here in the USA, and I see 1 or 2 advertised in Europe. Youre on your own there though..... Best, Joe
