    Thank you. I'm still in shock, really. If I'd known, I would have had a speech prepared. *Pulls out list.*

    I'd like to thank Jill, the School Principal's youngest Daughter, who made me appreciate Kindergartners, when I was in First Grade. And my class-, nay, schoolmates from grades K-8, who thought I was the bravest person in the whole world for courting the fearsome Principal's Daughter. Nobody thought I'd live to see 6. I'd also like to thank her sister, Tami, who, though only one grade higher than me, taught me that older women were something truly, truly special, even though 2 years later she ministered the unsanctioned wedding between her sister and I only moments before, even as waves crashed on the rocks below, where the next day, we great unlicensed fisherpersons were to catch buckets of perch and see where babies come from, then eat them, (not the babies, the adult perches), we still made out on the 2 1/2 hour drive home. Ah, youth! To be 8 again! Or 7! I don't remember! And all my class- , nay, schoolmates from grades K-8, and those recent graduates of this school of primary and middle learning who passed the legend on to their cohorts at their high, but not quite higher institute of learning who no longer needed convincing I was the bravest of the brave, and their sister Joni's best friend, what's-her-name, who, many years later, wrote her number on a gas credit card receipt, whereupon, one thing led to another, but, I'm getting too far ahead of myself, because Elvia- *Orchestra Plays*
