What is the color of this 599?

For those who have seen the National Geographic show "Ultimate Factories" on Ferrari and the 599 does anyone know what color that bronzish 599 is? I wish I could find a picture of it to post it but I don't know where to get it.

It is an icredible color and I think it looks very good on the 599.

If anyone knows the official name of that color I would appreciate it. Thanks.

I just watched the vidio again, and I am pretty sure it is Rubino, which changes color dramatically given whatever light it is exposed to. Here are a few comparison shots on a 430 and the 599.

I hope to gawd I'm right, cause I just placed my order today for Rubino on my 599.

I think they introduced a new REd called Monza ?

 

Rubino is very nice. I just saw it last week on a 612 I was looking at from Penske-Wynn Ferrari. It is not that color (although a very good choice by the way).

I am not at all familiar with Monza though. I wish there was a way I could get a picture of that car.

It is the 599 that they show on the road and the track throughout the show. It looks like a Bronze of some sort. It could be Monza I have no clue. But I know it is not Rubino because Rubino is like a darker metallic Burgundy which is very nice also.

Anyway thank you so far guys. If anyone out there knows what color that is, or if anyone has pics of a Ferrari in the Monza color please post it so I can see if that is the color.

The color is Rosso Monza(brand new for the 599).

 

Found on a French website, the called it the Rossa Monza, so I assume that this is the one?

I calls it Rosso "most glorious color ever" Monza, its spectacular that color is!!!

 

Just so you know, Rosso Monza delays the car like 4 weeks at least. It's currently 19.600 more then the regular colors as well. Apparently they have to paint the car and let it cure completely 4 times for Rosso Monza to look right.

Just an FYI

 

When you order that color ferrari doesn't paint it. The shop across the street called zanassi paints it. They painted all the enzos, fxx's, mc12s, and Jean Todt's Cars.

 

So in other words those cars have decent paint jobs??!!!!

 

exactly. Haven't you seen todt's chrome 599. That painted. Also it used to have gold wheels. THe interior is made out of wool also.

 

I don't think it's chrome...maybe brushed aluminum with clearcoat...

 

Its many layers of painted silver to look like chrome. I was there when they were making the car.

is this offered by the factory or by the shop once the car is delivered?

 

I'm sure if you pay the right price they can paint that chrome color. I know it took them like 2 months to get the color right though.
