Not totalled, but the red one previously belonging to Premier Motor Car of SF had a nasty little spill. Easily fixed.
The one in Houston (just ask bubba he still has melted enzo bits) that had a case of firey detonation after a tree jumped out in front of it on a public road
The burned one in Texas was rebuilt The crash in Italy is probably a write off but not confirmed. The crash in Utah the car was not all that bad and I would be very surprised if it was not rebuilt. The Erickson car is in Maranello and being rebuilt as we speak The Carmel Valley car is gone.....1 confirmed The Nice car was not as bad as the Texas car and can be rebuilt but in any event is not confirmed as to its situation. Is my count wrong?
If a car has the same VIN it is the same car. Doesn't matter if all that was saved was the valve stem caps.
How do you know that ? Very bad crash tough.. http://www.supercarfrance.com/MC67/Part-1/21.jpg http://www.supercarfrance.com/MC67/Part-1/22.jpg
I agree and that is one of my points. The Malibu Enzo is at the factory being rebuilt. They will almost certainly drive a new car under the old VIN plate but as long as it has that number it is the same car in every legal sense.
do these rebuilt cars that come back to the states have salvage titles? are they worth $.50 on the dollar?
Ericksons was never titled to start with. In Ca salvage process only starts when insurer makes it one. If it is not made into a total loss claim it won't get a salvage title. I have known of a number of cases when some nature of intervention took place either with the insurer or before the insurer was involved to prevent a salvage title from being issued to protect the value of a special interest car.
