    Thought I'd check what happened in 1986 when my 328 was the "latest" one of the assembly line. -the disturbing thing is I remember most of them, which probably means I am either really old or my car is just getting warmed up at 20.

    The earth moved, thunder shook the sky, women swooned, and A Ferrari Was Born. ;)


    But according to wiki, 1988 had more roman numerals than any other year of the 20th century (MCMLXXXVIII), and prozac was introduced to the US, just in time for the election year. :p


    By an odd coincidence, about the time my 328 was sitting in a showroom in Arlington VA, I was haggling over the price of a "needs work" '81 2v in Va Beach. I bought a Celica AllTrac instead (for about the same price they were asking for the gunk encrusted 2V).

    Then, on Aug 14, 1988, Enzo Ferrari died. :( And Ferrari prices went ballistic.

    So my 328 has the distinction of being among the last Ferraris built while Enzo was alive.

    I don't really know, but my 328 was registered by the 1st owner on my birthday!!!!! 6th of March 1987, I was 22 years old then. I'm the 2nd owner since 4 years, when I found out, I just knew I hàd to buy it!!!
