OK people, this is my "official" application to join the Brotherhood. My 1990 348TS was finally delivered last Thursday (thank you Santa!!!). I know I'm a little late getting these pics posted. I arrived home from the most recent trip to India on Saturday afternoon, and have been spending my time with my wife and kids, and squeezing in a few short drives here and there. Today was a beautiful 55 degrees and sunny, so I decided to get the car out, dust it off, drive around town and take these pictures. Sorry, but I couldn't get the camera under the heat shields to show off the Tubi exhaust. It sure sounds great though. Worth the wait by the looks Welcome aboard Here is some information worth reading thanks to No Doubt http://www.the348.com/Tech/348.html Image Unavailable, Please Login
Congrats - looks sharp, and clean. Are the tips too close to the rear valance? (touching?) Every time someone posts here I feel like I need to get my car detailed again. What's with the bloody knuckles on the Brotherhood pic? I have a 328 and I could be a hand model.
The 348 Brotherhood are fighting warriors!! Fighting to prove that the 348 Brotherhood is one the most passionate group of Ferrari owners in the world.
Thanks Pap. I have searched several threads and actually found the348.com site a few weeks ago (again thanks to No Doubt). Printed off the how-to-start-it instructions for my wife and the truck driver, since I was not in the country when the car was delivered. There's some very good info on that site. I'm looking forward to meeting you when I travel to Aussie. Just do me a favor and don't wear those cheeky bum shorts of yours...
It may just be the camera angle, but I will check it out. Thanks for noticing. The previous owner had a Tubi exhaust installed. Still running the stock cats - may upgrade to hyperflows some day - would also like to try on "test pipes" too.
Looks great! The Arkansas Chapter of the Brotherhood has just doubled (to two!!). Sorry we will miss you on the drive this weekend. Mountain Home area is midway between us with lots of great drives, lets plan another meet soon. Spence
Thanks Tex. I double-checked the tips and there is about 1/4" clearance on the left and 1/8" on right - a little too close for comfort - definitely will adjust. I appreciate the feedback!
