That brings into question if one should call the Auto-Avio 815s Ferraris....or are they Nardis, or just what????

Then wasn't the "F60" (Enzo) a smidge early?

The F40 was supposed to be the 40th anniversary supercar, the F50 was the 50th anniversary supercar.

What year did the F40 come out? The F50?

Actually, the factory started assembling engines in late 1946. But 1947 is commonly referred to as the first year for Ferrari.
    F40 was introduced in 1987.
    F50 was introduced in 1995.

Therefore, the F60 should have been released in 2003!!!

The Enzo is not an F60. The factory never called it an F60.

F40's 20 year anniversary is just a couple of months away, 12 March 2007. :) The F50 did come out early for the 50 year anniversary, but it was actually scheduled to come out earlier than it actually did.

True, although the F50 was first introduced in March 1995 at the Geneva Salon, it was originally planned for as early as 1993. Instead, development of the F355 and 456 GT was given priority by the factory.

The F40 was first introduced in July 1987 in Maranello by Enzo himself. This year's Cavallino Classic event will honor 20 years of the F40 (amongst other anniversaries).
